Troon North

Set amid the grandeur of the high Sonoran desert, Troon North stretches across 1800 acres covered with giant saguaro, lush vegetation and massive granite boulders.

Troon Golf & Country Club

Troon North is one of the finest examples anywhere of the desert-links style. Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf have routed the course around the high Sonoran Desert near the famous Pinnacle Peak. The layout takes players around rock outcroppings, over desert washes and through a small forest of saguaro cactus.

Wigwam Resort Gold Course

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the Gold Course is a long and hard affair where water and bunkers are plentiful; eleven holes have lakes or streams, and the 96 bunkers are mostly large. Stretching to 7,074 yards, this highly regarded course is a great leveler - a pure test of skill, intelligence and ability.

The Boulders

This resort offers three nines, Boulders, Lake and Saguaro. The Boulders/Lake combination is set up for target golf with emphasis on control over distance. The designer let nature alone on the Boulders nine - it winds through and around large rock outcroppings known as "ancient monsters".

TPC of Scottsdale

Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale is set in the Sonoran Desert with the beautiful McDowell Mountains as a backdrop and embodies the commitment to excellence that defines the 21-club TPC Network.

The Pointe

The Pointe Golf Club on Lookout Mountain offers dramatic desert scenery that forms a perfect setting for a unique golf experience. This magnificent course combines spectacular desert scenery with challenging play. The course offers traditional golf, but is teamed up with target golf.

Golf Club at Eagle Mountain

The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain is located in the southeastern foothills of the McDowell Mountains and is an innovative departure from the "target" style courses constructed in the Sonoran Desert. The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain takes advantage of a variety of land features, including rolling hills, ridgelines, lush valleys and washes and features a backdrop of prominent mountain outcroppings.

Grayhawk Golf Club combines two of the Southwest's most thrilling golf courses-Talon and Raptor-with views of the McDowell Mountains. The Raptor Course offers mature desert landscaping also with a unique par 3-8th hole named "Aces & Eights", which features a slightly hidden green and a beautiful view of the McDowell Mountains and the par 4-10th hole named "Quill Creek", which features a creek that runs from left to right in front of the green then flows along the right side of the fairway to a large lake near the tee. The Talon Course has more that 1,000 native desert trees and desert landscaping and features two lakes and water that comes into play on the island green of the 17th hole and par 5 18th. A stunning five-level waterfall separates the 18th hole from the par 4 10th.

Legend Trails

Legend Trail Golf Club is the first Arizona design for acclaimed architect Rees Jones and has been described as a challenging and highly memorable golf course and was named as Arizona's 7th best Public Access course in the "Valley of the Sun". Legend Trail Golf Club flows through the natural desert landscape and forest of Saguaro cacti and Palo Verde trees. It is a wonderfully playable layout with many subtle and traditional features unique to itself.

This 18 hole championship layout is the design genius of two of the busiest men in the desert community, Billy Casper and Greg Nash.

Sun Ridge Canyon

Sun Ridge Canyon was created by wind, water, rock and time, following Nature's own course. Like Nature, much about Sun Ridge is straight forward. The fairway and green-side bunkers are in strategic positions where they force you to consider both the risk and the rewards of executing your next shot.

Tonto Verde

Tonto Verde features a state of the art GPS yardage and course information system on all of the golf cars. Tonto Verde is surrounded by magnificent mountain vistas and rich desert vegetation and is located between the Mazatazal and McDowell Mountains.

Raven at South Mountain

The Raven Golf Club at South Mountain is unlike any Arizona golf experience. This course in the desert is designed not to be a desert course. The Raven Golf Club layout features plush, rolling fairways framed by thousands of mature pines, African Sumac and Oleander trees as well as vistas of rugged Desert Mountains and the Phoenix skyline. Out of play areas are covered in beds of thatched pine needles and countless flower gardens.

Desert Mountain

There are three Nicklaus-designed courses in this 8,000-acre community development in north Scottsdale. The Renegade has the highest course rating in North America (77.6) from the gold tees to the gold greens. The Chochise is cradled in the foothills of the Tonto National Forest. Fast greens are tough to read, and approach and short chip shots are
